Shadow Cave Painting No. 1
Late afternoon sunlight shining through a weave of ever moving spruce branches created many of these shadows. Others were created by the first light of the rising sun. Some of the most interesting shadows emerge in very low light when there is a graying of the color. This is particularly evident in the shadow which was used to create the home page of this website (see self-portraits). |
