Stone Arch
Sometimes to see with a new perspective it is necessary to turn the world upside down. This is literally what is done to display photographed reflections -- the camera image is rotated 180 degrees to permit the viewer to see into this elusive world. All of these reflections were photographed in puddles, pools, ponds and roadside ditches with the camera sitting very close to the water. Because water based reflections are endlessly in motion they hold a wealth of imagery. When the camera freezes this activity we see in the stillness the impressionist hand of God. |
